About QuickScore

The QuickScore originally came out in hard copy and was called the CIPRA (Carriveau Individual Profile Reading Assessment). More than 200,000 students were tested with the CIPRA in hard copy. It was then decided to convert the entire assessment to an online format with added enhancements, including voice instructions for Levels 1 and 2, additional rubric scoring guides for the written responses, a floating rubric for online miscue analysis scoring, and a name change to QuickScore Reading Assessment Program or QuickScore. The QuickScore has eight test levels for grades 1-8, measures specific reading comprehension outcomes, and includes multiple-choice, written response, and oral response items. Class summary and individual student detailed reports are produced immediately after test administrations.
